With the world switching to ‘To Go’ food in the wake of 2020 I created this logo to put a fun spin on the Apex Entertainment redesigned take out menu and other to go items.
This is one of my favorite additions to the brand in 2020.
New Englands Largest Pretzel, and Apex Entertainment staple! This was a limited time promotion for take home pretzel kits.
I really enjoyed how fun and simple this design was, and stepping away from the dark backgrounds that the Apex brand is synonymous for.
The Beer Summit is the biggest annual event held at Apex Entertainment. Breweries from all across New England come together for a day of sampling, all to benefit Clear Path For Veterans.
The neighborhood barn making history.
Buzz @ The Barn is a full recording studio, and live music venue, discovering local talents and broadcasting live streamed concerts weekly.
The goal of this brand redesign was to take the existing bee, the Buzz mascot, and modernize the brand. The full logo design utilizes the honeycomb shape to mimic the peak of the barn roof, along with the original color of the barn’s exterior.
B.Ma Productions is a personal brand for a growing music producer. The main logo was inspired by the classic look of spray painted street art.
The Apex Entertainment food menu is just as loud and fun as the facility! With striking colors, and larger than life food including New England’s Largest Pretzel, this menu is perfect for a family entertainment center.
Each page features cut out phots and fun text elements to entice the customer. The drink menu (not pictured) is just as fun!
The limited food menu was created to save paper and simplify the menu and user experience now that most menus are viewed digitally. I went through the full menu and created a clean, simplistic design that is easy to interact with digitally, and in print.
Apex Mini-golf is an all new brand under that parent brand Apex Entertainment.
Parent brand Apex Entertainment bought out a location of the popular kids soft play brand BB Kids. The goal with the redesign was that the new brand ‘Apex kids” needed to feel familiar to those who had visited BBKids in the past, and also clearly belonged under the Apex Entertainment umbrella.
With the use of the Apex Entertainment colors and font, I took BBKids and made it Apex Kids.
Though the final iteration is quite simple, there were many fun designs that came into play though the initial design process. This final logo makes use of lower case letters in ‘kids’ and a splice straight though the word that mirrors the splice in the Apex ‘x’.
This t-shirt was designed for the 2019 Phantom Gourmet food festival. The shirt depicted a life size version of New England’s largest pretzel, one of Apex Entertainment’s most iconic menu items.
The fun name for the go kart team is the Pit Crew! These shirts include the track sponsor logo on the right sleeve (not pictured). This shirt distinguishes members of the trained Pit Crew from other general members of staff.
The party host uniform design mimics that of a standard ‘Team Member’ uniform, but also stands out on its owe. The party host uniform is bright and seen from all corners of the Apex Entertainment complex! It was designed to be easily recognizable to parents and party goers.
The design is fun and fits perfectly with the Apex Entertainment party room wall graphics, and present bins. The uniform is one step further into the birthday party experience!
The team member uniform is bright and fun!
The Apex Entertainment Team Member hat was my first contribution on the design team. Original design included a blue under brim and blue snap closure, but to save on costs we opted to replace these with black in the end.
These hats are breathable with the mesh backing, comfortable for the Kitchen and Tack crews. They make a great addition to our street team uniforms and also allow for our team members to represent the brand on their own time outside of work, wearing them throughout their daily lives.
They are by far the staffs favorite uniform item!
